DESCRIPTION:Performance Shotgun focuses on accountability and building technical proficiency.

Many are intimidated by the perceived recoil of the shotgun, in Performance Shotgun you will learn to tame the beast and gain confidence with your shotgun.

We will start with a refresher of the basics, but students will be pushed to improve speed and accuracy with the shotgun on single targets, challenging multiple target arrays, and in competitive timed shooting.  Shotgun Performance will also cover the application and use of slugs, an introduction to the use of the shotgun in close quarters, and the basics of using cover and approaching corners with a long gun.

This is an intermediate level class.

We will focus on executing the basics and explore what comes next.

Minimum round count: 300 birdshot or buckshot, 175 buckshot, 25 Defensive/Duty buckshot, 25 slugs
