DESCRIPTION:This will be a custom class focused on:

- Retention shooting

- In-fight weapons access

- Small impact weapons (flashlight/Kubaton)

- Shooting from the ground and other adverse positions

- Partner rescue techniques

- Defending against life threatening physical assaults

- Pre-assault indicators

- Pepper spray usage

In essence, this one will be a combination of the best of my two-day Extreme Close Quarters Gunfighting class with additional highlights from my pepper spray and small impact weapons classes.  At the end of the second day, there will be an OPTIONAL pepper spray exposure exercise for anyone who wants to directly experience the effects of the chemical.

Students should have previous formal firearms training (beyond a CCW class) and should be able to safely draw and fire from concealment.  Some previous training in retention position shooting is preferred.  No previous training in pepper spray or impact weapons is required.

This will be a physical class with minimal lecture material.  You will be on your feet doing drills against other members of the class for the majority of both days.  A modicum of physical fitness is necessary to be able to perform well in this course.  You should be able to stand all day long and be able to engage in low intensity grappling and striking practice drills.  This class will not be overly demanding for most people, but if you can’t walk around the block without stopping, this isn’t the class for you.

We will be shooting around 300 rounds of ammunition during class.  A detailed equipment list will be sent to each student before the class.
